A licensed tow operator schedules pickup in your city. You sign the title, the driver collects the keys, and the tow costs you nothing — running or not.

Proceeds fund commissary grants
The vehicle is sold at auction. Net proceeds fund commissary grants through Soul Tribes International Ministries, and the sale is processed by CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services).

A free hotel stay
Donors are eligible for a free hotel stay as a thank-you. The room rate is covered; you pay taxes and fees.
- Room rate only — the donor pays all taxes and fees.
- Activate the stay within 7 days of receiving it.
- Travel must be completed within 18 months.
- Recipient must be 21 or older.
- One free hotel stay per household per 12 months.

How does car donation work?
Start online through the donation link or call 855-500-RIDE with the year, make, model, and condition of the vehicle. A licensed tow operator schedules free pickup, you sign the title and hand over the keys, and the vehicle is sold at auction by CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services).
Does my vehicle need to run?
No. Non-running, wrecked, flood-damaged, and long-parked vehicles are accepted. Towing is free either way.
What kinds of vehicles can I donate?
Cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, RVs, campers, boats, trailers, and fleet vehicles, provided the title is in your name and any lien has been released.
What paperwork do I get?
You receive a donation receipt. Vehicles over $500 receive IRS Form 1098-C from the processor. Consult your tax advisor about your situation.
Where do the proceeds go?
Net proceeds fund commissary grants through Soul Tribes International Ministries — soap, toothpaste, stamps, and other basic necessities for incarcerated people. Impact figures are reported once verified.
Is the free hotel stay really free?
